MANDATE - ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Economic Development Office’s mandate is to facilitate the economic growth of Milton by supporting our existing businesses growth and expansion as well as to attract new investment to our community. Through every stage of development or relocation, our economic development team extends its personal guidance and assistance.
By continually attracting new business investments, we are maintaining the Town's principle of a balanced approach to non-residential and residential growth and tax assessment, which is critical to ensuring a financially healthy community.
We also work on initiatives that support and encourage future economic growth and prosperity for the Town such as the Milton Education Village and the Derry Green Corporate Business Park.
